Icon (Namad Moshaveran Ertebat Donya) has a history of running Turn key projects, in which implementation of New GSM, 3G and 4G towers are carried out for some of world’s leading Vendors (Nokia, Ericsson & Huawei), and biggest Mobile Network Operators of the country (Hamrah-e Aval, MTN Irancell and Rightel).
Such projects include:
- Site Acquisition process, during which a number of candidates are introduced to fulfill RF and Tx criteria. The best of the candidates are chosen during a Technical Site Survey, and leased.
- Excavation and implementation of tower and fence and construction of road and site entryway by Civil team.
- Implementation of electrical safety and protection systems such as: Excavating of Earth pit and Earthing system and lightning protection system to guard people and electrical equipment against a broad range of hazards including Electric shocks, damage to electrical equipment, fire and disruption the operation of sensitive telecommunication devices by noise during short circuit current in network and lightning strike.
- Installation of Electric Poles and Medium and low voltage power line and Electrical Panels and Transformers for transmitting electrical energy to the location of site and supplying telecommunication equipment which are done by electrical engineers and technicians team.
- Installation and commissioning and testing BTS rack, radio equipment, antennas and microwave dish and connecting and integrating of the telecommunication cellular site to the Mobile Network Operator via microwave waves or optical fiber.
